World Bowls Tour

After 25 years of trying, Les Gillett claimed a popular victory in the 2022 World Indoor Singles Championship and with it moved to the number one position in the World Ranking List.

 

He first came to the attention of the World Bowls Tour community with a surprise victory over David Gourlay in the 1997 International Open as an unseeded qualifier. Since then he has went on to win two World Pairs Championships with wins alongside Mark McMahon and Jason Greenslade and also claimed the 2002 Welsh Open title.

 

In recent years he has consistently been at the semi final stage in all competitions and deservedly sits at the top of the pyramid as World Number One.
