On his day, Nick Brett is the most devastating draw bowler on the World Bowls Tour, as proved by his 'ridiculous' wonder bowl that went viral on social media during the 2020 Championships.
2020 was his year, and he only just missed out on being the first player to complete a sweep of World Indoor titles, losing out on a tie-break in the singles to Robert Paxton after lifting the Pairs and Mixed Pairs trophies.
His 2016 World Indoor Singles victory was the culmination of a dominant four-year period in the sport where he rose to world number one for the first time in 2015, and was named World Bowls Tour Player of the Year, and Players' Player of the Year three years running from 2015 to 2017.
